SITUATION REPORT
The football program is running the hype machine at maximum capacity, comparing walk-ons to Arch Manning and talking about the best defense ever assembled—peak Ole Miss copium that only survives if nothing goes wrong in September. “We need Cunningham and Curne to step up. That takes each of those positions from a position of some concern to positions of strength. Cunningham should be the rest receiver on the team based on talent, Curne the same on offense. Those guys step up and this offense is going to be really difficult to stop.”

Key offensive returning players include running back Issac Brown, All-ACC 2025, Tre Richardson, a wide receiver transfer from Vanderbilt who racked up 806 yards and seven touchdowns, and transfer quarterback Lincoln Kienholz from Ohio”

“Random notes, in no order, headed into fall camp. QB news: Trinidad is obviously QB1 but Deuce Knight has impressed more than expected. We should be in very good hands next season. RB News: Frazier (Michigan St transfer) is clearly RB2 and will be first off the bench to let Lacy have a break. We really want Lacy to have a more balanced workload this season and be fresher late into the season. Coaches like Frazier a lot. WR News: Starting 3 today are Deuce and Fields on the outside with Cook Jr i”
